The process of selling your property should be rewarding and not one of disappointment. The team of Strata Realty are on hand to offer you the advice required to streamline this whole process.

    Agent Checklist:
  • What marketing plan has the agent in mind for your property? Select an agent who supports the method of selling best suited to your property and your situation.
  • Never engage an agent you feel uneasy with or who is difficult to communicate with.
  • Question how the agent arrived at the suggested selling price of your property.
  • Be careful when tempted by agents who promise 'over the top' sale prices compared to their competitors. This can lead to disappointment after they have your initial business.
  • Ask for references. You want to know that your agent has a proven track record of selling, negotiating and achieving the best price for you.
  • Determine the Fees, Costs associated with Selling. Be aware that many agents will encourage you to provide them with 'Marketing and Promotional' fees in addition to Real Estate commission.
  • Conveyancing costs and any fees associated with early loan closure.
  • An obligation for the seller to provide a Body Corporate Disclosure Statement to a buyer (Strata property only)
  • Provision for the GST.
